Mada'in Saleh: Outpost of the Nabateans

No, this isn't Petra, but it sure looks like it.  Inhabited by the same group of people, the Nabateans, Mada'in Saleh is their southern most settlement and it's found in Western Saudi Arabia. We visited a month ago and these stunning rock cut burial tombs are almost all that remain of this group of people.   
Weather worn 1000 year old staircase.
