Munich Monday
Munich is said to be the biggest village in the world. That's because the city is divided into small neighborhoods often called by their U-bahn or S-bahn stop name. Lehel is one of those small neighborhoods and wandering through it is a delight. The day I visited young boys were playing soccer on the steps out front of the church and girls sat idly by watching. The facade of the St. Anne Cloister church is a bit unassuming, but holy cow, does this baroque beauty pack a colorful punch!
For those who enjoy the discovery of the unknown, Munich is a wonderfully safe place to wander. And one thing is for sure, you will always run into a bakery to take care of your snacking needs! You are almost guaranteed to see me with a Coke Lite in my bag and pretzel in my mouth!
