Night Time at Oktoberfest

Since my husband and I don't drink, Oktoberfest is all about the rides, the treats and an opportunity to wear our festive clothing. The following is nothing more than a long photographic journey through our evening at Oktoberfest and my attempt at night time and moving target photography. Enjoy.

Do you know how hard it is to walk by stand after stand selling cotton candy, carmel corn and my favorite--candied nuts. Do you know how good fresh cooked nuts smell? I was in the middle of a 30 day "treat" fast, so that meant I didn't get to eat any of my favorite carny food and I was a bit disappointed. The good news is, all that fattening food will be back at Christmas--cha-ching!

Here piggy, piggy. Normally, my belly is full from treats so I rarely eat wurst, but this year I partook and I have to say the Nuremburger was really good!
