Bruges River Cruise
There are plenty of river cruises to choose from--we found ourselves in the right place at the right time to hop on one. It's a fun way to see the city from a different perspective--envision a time when the city clamored about with horses, carts and boats.
Bruges is the capitol of West Flanders and in its hay day it claimed to be home to famous painters, a healthy trade industry in woven wollens, fabric and lace. Ultimately, the silting up of the Zwin channel was the demise of this once prosperous medieval city.
The only thing I know about this city is about the paintings that were taken from this city during the war.
