"Will Santa find us if we aren't at home?"was the big question on Eden's mind. I assured her he would so we left him our annual note with cookies and milk and went to bed. And what does Santa leave when you are on a travel vacation with little room for gifts in the trunk? He leaves tickets to the world's happiest place, DISNEY LAND, sitting on the kitchen table.

Transportation: From Paris catch the RER line A-4 from Charles de Gaulle-Etoile, Auber, Chatelet-Les Halles or Gare de Lyon, get off at Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy--it couldn't be easier.
Time: about 45 minutes from Paris
Cost: 49e round trip for 2 adults and 2 children *you can lump the train ride into the price of your Disney ticket if you buy online. Check out the Disney Parks website for the pass that suits your family best.

To say we had a blast is an understatement. Disney at Christmas time is extra festive with Christmas decorations, special parades and even the "It's a Small World" ride had a Christmas jingle. It was really a fun time. Disney has the theme park thing down pat--We've gotten very good service from ticket sellers and food attendants to park employees, they want to make the customer happy!

Yes, we experienced long lines; clearly we weren't the only ones with Disney in mind for our Christmas vacation, but we took advantage of the "fast pass" and did our best to ride strategically. We ate at one of the many fast food eateries in the park and while I can't say it was the best, it certainly was better than the food we paid 3x more for at the end of the night at Planet Hollywood just outside the park. If you are willing to carry a backpack, Disney will allow you to bring in your own snacks and you'll save a bundle.
