I know exactly where this was when I saw the thumbnail. I visited a few years ago. A haunting place and one that really bought home the sheer size of the labour and death camp systems.
ReplyDeleteI too recognised this instantly from the thumbnail. Once you've visited a place like Auschwitz-Birkenau it stays with you forever. I will never forget the experience-haunting.
